Sometimes my cats are blatant about waking me up in the morning. They meow loudly, and my eyes pop open to their noses just inches away from mine. Other times, they act nonchalantly about the whole business. They combine the "I'm here to 'encourage' you to haul your lazy butt out of bed and feed me," and "I'm ignoring you, because that's what I do best."
Phoebe demonstrated this combo perfectly this morning.
