DCTADEDI = ADDICTED

Many of you know that I am somewhat of a word game junkie. Many of my friends are consistently more skilled than I am in the art of laying down the lexicon, but I hold my own in most rounds. Word Twist is a game that is one of my Facebook favorites. Each player is given the same six or seven letters and then they are challenged to see how many anagrams they can derive from the given letters. Anagramming means to rearrange existing letters to create new words. In Word Twist, this is a timed competition -- each player typically has 1-3 minutes (depending on what was chosen at game set-up) to locate as many 3-6/7 letter words as possible. I know several people who don't enjoy timed games, but I love them. They raise my blood pressure 20 points, but I am officially hooked. Some days my brain is so completely Word-Twisted that I see anagrams everywhere.... Target = get, tar, gear, tag.... you get the picture. And then sometimes when I play hungry, I see only what I want to see...even if it isn't a word. The Word Twist gods don't appreciate my affection for delicious foods.

NATWCBN = WNT BACN
LTOCOCH = CHOCOLT
OWCNEEF = CFEENOW
DBLGRCD = GRLCBRD
STTTTRO = TTRTOTS
ZAPQZBB = BBQPZZA

Yes, my fondess of food and weakness for word games have finally gotten hitched, albeit an illegal marriage in the state of Word Twist. But really...who's to judge true love, even if it is a little unconventional? Hungry or not, legal or illegal, I suppose I'll still log on and play these games with my fellow twisted sisters til I'm an anagramma. And that's the final word.
