I'm Getting Personal About BlogPaws

I love this photo of Phoebe and Cosmo. It looks to me like they're waiting in line for something.

OK, here comes the segue ... get ready for it ...

Guess what? You don't have to wait in line to register for the BlogPaws conference. No way. It's easy-peasy, and you'll be set to go in no time.

I know I've been writing and posting about BlogPaws for some time now. And I know you know I'm an ambassador. I don't want to spend this post telling you facts about the conference that you can easily snap up when you go to their site, so I'm going to get personal here. I'm going to tell some of my special reasons I love attending the BlogPaws conference.

#1: The social shuttle

When I'm on the shuttle from the airport to the hotel (and there is a FREE shuttle in Vegas this year), I usually make new friends who are also heading to the conference. This was especially cool when I attended my very first one in 2010 -- I didn't feel like I was such a loner when I walked into the hotel. You can usually tell who the conference goers are -- it's like we recognize each other. In my experience, people who are devoted to their pets are usually kind-hearted and friendly. Say hi.

Here I am with Tamar from I Have Cat and Deb from Glogirly, two of the kindest around!

#2 Desserts!

The desserts are crazy-good. I have a serious sweet tooth, so it's a treat for me to go town on a variety of noms after lunch and dinner. And there are sometimes choices. Is that weird that the desserts are one of the reasons I look forward to the conference? I couldn't care less -- I told you I was going to get personal. And in a few short weeks I'm going to get up close and personal with something chocolate. Or maybe cheesecake. I hope cheesecake.

Whaaaaat????

#3: Well-dressed cats

I get to see cats in clothing. My cats have no patience for clothes, and I know people have definite opinions about whether or not our feline friends should get dolled up, but I think it depends on the cat. At BlogPaws, there are some seriously cute cats who are friendly, well-socialized, comfortable and look faaaabuuuloouusss!!!

Cats in clothes! Yay!

#4: Hanging with cool cats

The Cat Lounge! My friend Kate Benjamin of Hauspanther puts together this amazing room of the latest, greatest cat products on the market. There are fountain, scratchers, litter boxes, toys ... and that's just the beginning. The Cat Lounge tends to be the "home base" for cat bloggers. It's where we can go during down time, to visit with our friends, and check out the display items. Sometimes there are even little freebies. Oh, and guess what? In the Cat Lounge, you can register to win one of those cool display items! The drawing is the last day of the conference, and believe me, you want to register.

The awesome Cat Lounge!

So that's all for now -- more reasons for you to attend! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about the conference, and you can always learn more by attending the #BlogPawsChat on Twitter tonight from 8-10 PM CDT. Speaking of attending, when you register, you can still receive 10% off when you use the code: BlogPaws2014-Angie-10. You're welcome, and I hope to see you on the airport shuttle!
