Laughter: Saving my Sanity

My schedule has been beyond hectic the past few months.  Some of you know I have been co-directing the school play and have also started writing for Life With Cats.  That, on top of everything else that fills my already bulging planner pad, has left little to no time for much else.  I have neglected reading the blogs of my sweet friends (I'm so sorry) and the faded polish on my raggedy toenails looks like ten tiny Rorschach ink blot tests.  For the record, each of those ink blots clearly indicate I am certifiably cuckoo.

Thankfully the play performances are at the end of this week and my schedule will settle down a bit.  This week is particularly busy and so I thought it would be a good time to stop and LAUGH.  Laughter breaks the tension and lightens the load.  It saves my sanity...and I'm not even kidding.

For today, here is something that send me into fits of giggles.  I hope you will share a much-needed laugh with me.

My daughter had a fondue party last weekend.  As I watched the teenage girls gathered around the fondue pot with their skewered strawberries hovering over the warm urn of chocolately goodness, I could imagine only one thing: What if my cats had a fondue party?  How funny would it be to happen upon cats sitting around a delicious pot of fondue?  Hmmmmm.....

All better now....
