When I come home from being away for a few hours, Cosmo likes to roll back and forth on the floor. It's his go-to "welcome home" gesture. I love seeing this little show because 1) I rarely get to see his belly and 2) PANTIES! The little white sploosh of fur in his lower belly areas looks like panties, no? That's what I call them, anyway. "Welcome home! Look at my panties!"

Pay No Attention to the Cat Behind the Curtain/Help Lonely Pets this Holiday Season
As animal lovers, we like to know about opportunities to help pets in need. Petfinder.com is an excellent resource for just that subject and, once again, they've answered the call! Tomorrow, December 13th, from 3-4 EDT, Petfinder.com's Facebook page will host a Q & A session on how to help homeless pets during the holidays.
In honor of their third annual Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays campaign, Petfinder.com asked readers what they'd like to see covered in the session. Sara Kent, Director of Outreach at Petfinder.com will field questions about becoming a foster pet parent, volunteering at a local shelter, fundraising, and more! Participating is easy: all you need to do is "like" the Petfinder.com Facebook page and you're all set!
Please join the session and share this information with all the other animal lovers in your life. You can make a difference in the life of a lonely pet...during the holiday season and all year-long!

Why Isn't This in the Litter Box?/A-dress-ing a Great Cause!
Now it's time to help one of our favorite causes, the Santa Paws Drive! Have you heard of it? It's a virtual toy drive for shelter pets. They accept donations of cash or toys and Santa Paws will divide the goodies and send them to six shelters across the world. Their goal is to raise $900 and lots and lots of toys for animals would otherwise not enjoy the holiday treats that your and my companions do. You can donate here or via the widget on the sidebar of this blog.
Now on to another exciting tidbit! The Santa Paws Drive has the opportunity to win the four dresses (valued at $4,000 each) used in the Fancy Feast Storybook Wedding commercials! The organization that wins will be able to auction these dresses and use the funds toward the good work they do. So today, please visit the Fancy Feast Facebook page and vote for Santa Paws! If the poll isn't up right away, please bookmark the page and check back soon. We can help these sweet shelter animals have an even BETTER holiday! Let's do it!
